CAD Design Engineer

Skills / Experience :

Strong understanding of VLSI design flows, PD CAD

Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl for automation and flow development.

Familiarity of EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics etc.

Understanding of latest advancements in VLDI design methodology and EDA tools

Familiarity with basic flows for PD, STA, Synthesis etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Debug and resolve issues related to tool functionality, data management and design flows.

Customize and optimize existing design flows to improve efficiency and performance.

Integrate new tools and methodologies into the design flow to enhance productivity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Ability to clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audience.

Education Requirements :

Master’s degree in EE / CS along with 5+ years of experience in CAD / Methodology / EDA team of any reputed VLSI based company
