Entity Controller (Legal Entity Controller).

Location : Bangalore.

Experience : 8-12 Years.

Best for : Large MNCs, Banks, or Groups with multiple subsidiaries / branches.

Reports to : Regional Controller or Global Controller.

Role Summary :

The Entity Controller acts as the ""guardian"" of the legal entity's books.
You will be responsible for the financial governance of specific subsidiaries, ensuring that statutory and regulatory obligations are met in the local jurisdiction while reporting accurately to the global parent company.

Key Responsibilities :

Statutory Reporting : Manage the preparation and filing of local statutory financial statements in compliance with local GAAP (IFRS, UK GAAP, Indian AS) and local laws.

Month-End Close : Oversee the month-end close process for the assigned entities, ensuring accurate submission of results to the corporate consolidation system.

Audit Liaison : Lead the statutory audit process for the specific legal entities, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.

Governance : Ensure the legal entity complies with all Board and regulatory requirements (dividends, capital injection, board meeting materials).

Transfer Pricing : Work with the Tax team to ensure intercompany transactions and transfer pricing policies are correctly recorded and settled.

Balance Sheet Integrity : Review and approve account reconciliations, ensuring all assets and liabilities of the entity are substantiated.

Requirements :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Certification : Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACCA, or Chartered Accountant (CA) is essential.

Experience : 8 years+ of experience, preferably in a Global MNC environment or Big 4 Audit firm.

Knowledge : Strong working knowledge of both US GAAP (for corporate reporting) and Local Statutory Standards (for local filings).

Soft Skills : Ability to work in a matrix environment, often coordinating with Shared Service Centers, Tax, Treasury, and Legal departments.

Systems : Experience with consolidation tools (Hyperion HFM) and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle).
