Associate – Data Analytics

The Data Analytics Associate reviews and approves complex analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets that identify current market sector trends and customer patterns. This job directs the examination and identification of data patterns and trends that help answer business questions and improve decision-making. The Data Analytics Associate oversees the collection of data sources, as well as the analysis and extraction of key data and information. This job also ensures that data quality meets the organization's information system needs andrequirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Approves mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques that determine market conditions, project consumer needs and inform business initiatives.
• Analyzes and reviews trends found from modelling to inform other lines of business such as product development and marketing decisions.
• Oversees data mining models, statistical reporting and data analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and to simulate impact of potential business decisions.
• Develops and presents detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.
• Partners with other areas of the business to model outcome of implementing potential business strategies.
• Manages large, complex projects or processes with limited oversight while working with other team members to ensure accurate findings and results.

Position Summary : Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job

The individual in this position will provide reporting and analytical insight to support to the Wealth Management by means of standardizing and automating operational and performance metrics and reporting. We’re in search for a seasoned analyst / developer with experience in providing reporting, but also telling a story through analytics. They will be responsible for, building dashboards, and solving analytical problems. This candidate will need to have an expert-level grasp of data and database technologies and be able to develop visualizations that assist business leadership in understanding patterns, dependencies and interconnections of key metrics.

The qualified candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has a passion for developing innovative / creative solutions in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be a self-starter who possesses exceptional technical and critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and must have excellent oral / written communication skills.

Associate will provide reporting and analytical insight to support to the Wealth Management and Technology Group by means of standardizing and automating operational and performance metrics and reporting.

Job Requirements And Qualifications : Indicate the minimum and preferred education and experience for the job and any licenses and certifications required

Required Education : BA / BS

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in a business related field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education :

BA / BS

Required Experience :

5-10 years

A minimum of 7+ years of SQL and general relational database proficiency required

Preferred Experience :

5+ years

Knowledge of Tableau and / or intermediate web design

Skills and Abilities :

A minimum of 5 years of IT related experience required

Strong understanding of ETL concepts, and experience using multiple tools / programming languages

Ability to multi task and operate independently under strict time lines

Knowledge of PL / SQL and Snowflake

Support reporting and analysis of key business metrics
