What will you be responsible for?

  • Write and maintain software to solve complex network management and monitoring tasks, including Deploying and auditing configuration of network devices.
  • Monitoring network health, including metrics collection, visualization, and alerting
  • Tracking network utilization over time to assist capacity planning models.
  • Executing Changes in bulk across multiple devices.
  • Write proper tests and documentation for all tools.
  • Collaborate with other teams to design and implement tools that help automate end-to-end processes that involve the network infrastructure.
  • Integrate existing open-source software tools and participate in those open source projects in order to contribute to any new features or bug fixes.

What do we require?

  • Network / Infrastructure automation using Python and preferably Ansible (Writing custom modules for Ansible in python)
  • Experienced in REST API development
  • Working knowledge of GIT, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
  • Experience in operating in a Scrum / Agile / SDLC environment

    • Either One of the knowledge required from below :

  • Firewall ruleset automation of Fortinet, Checkpoint, Juniper firewalls so experience here would be a benefit especially on Fortinet
  • F5 Automation
  • Solid experience automating network devices such as Firewall, NSX, Routers, Switches, etc.
  • Creating code to push / pull to databases of firewall rules using SQL or MongoDB

    • What do we desire?

  • Experience in frameworks and databases such Django, Flask, PostgreSQL and similar.
  • Experience of having worked with CMDB (Service Now, Service First) platforms and an understanding of Enterprise level network management platforms.
  • Experience of IPAM and SoR tools such as Netbox is beneficial
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems in terms of daemons, services, file system, rpm packages, etc.
  • Onboarding via API into Spectrum, Cisco ISE and other similar tools
  • Experience with Ansible, AppViewX
  • Technology we usePython, Ruby,F5 BIG-IP,Linux,Ansible
