Senior Quality Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Must-Have Expertise :

Strong experience in

testing

with a sound understanding of

testing processes and methodologies .

Solid knowledge of

UI testing concepts , and practical exposure to

functional ,

regression ,

system integration , and

non-functional testing .

Proficiency in

test case design ,

test execution ,

defect management , and

tracking .

Familiarity with

JIRA

or similar defect tracking and project management tools.

Good

debugging and analytical skills

to investigate issues and perform root cause analysis.

Strong

communication skills

for effective collaboration with multiple teams and functions.

Basic scripting skills using

Python

or any other scripting language (Shell Script, JavaScript, etc.) to support testing tasks.

Basic knowledge of

writing and executing SQL queries

for validations (preferably on

PostgreSQL ,

YugabyteDB , or similar relational databases).

Exposure to

UI Automation Tools

like

Selenium

Good-to-Have Expertise :

Understanding of

open-source technologies

including,

Kafka ,

HBase ,

Solr , and

ElasticSearch .

Experience working in

Linux

environments for system-level validations and troubleshooting.

Awareness of

Agile

methodologies

Understanding of

Kubernetes environments

and deployment basics (good to have for supporting system validations).
