About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in Linux-based systems, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will possess strong scripting skills (Python or Terraform) and a solid understanding of cloud architecture and automation best practices.

This role requires flexibility to collaborate with global teams, including availability for meetings and calls during PST time zones. The candidate should be based in or around Bengaluru, with the ability to attend in-person meetings when needed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Administer and optimize Linux environments, preferably Oracle Linux, for enterprise-grade applications.
• Develop, maintain, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Python for deployment, monitoring, and system management.
• Implement and enhance CI / CD pipelines for faster and more reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and efficient release cycles.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in on-call support and provide operational coverage during PST time zones when required.
• Document processes, architectures, and configuration details for knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 8 years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or System Administration roles.

Operating Systems : Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Oracle Linux preferred).

Cloud Platform : Expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and RDS.

Scripting & Automation :

CI / CD Tools : Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or similar tools.

Version Control : Proficient in Git-based workflows.

Networking & Security : Solid understanding of network configurations, firewalls, and cloud security principles.

Monitoring & Logging : Experience with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
