Integration Architect / Lead (WSO2)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Integration Architect / Lead (WSO2)

to drive the design, development, and management of enterprise-level integration solutions. The role requires deep expertise in

WSO2 technologies , API management, security, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to collaborate with government and enterprise clients to deliver robust, secure, and scalable integration solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA (or equivalent).

WSO2 Certification (mandatory).

15+ years of overall IT experience.

10+ years of experience in IT projects for Government or large enterprise clients.

Core Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop APIs using

WSO2 API Manager , covering the full lifecycle (publishing, versioning, retirement).

Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of integration solutions.

Define API security standards and implement

OAuth 2.0, JWT tokens, and other authentication mechanisms .

Manage

API traffic

with throttling, caching, load balancing, and traffic management policies.

Configure and maintain

SSL keystores, certificates, and secure communication channels .

Lead deployment strategies across

on-premises, containers, and cloud

environments.

Monitor and analyze

API usage, performance, and security metrics

using APIM Analytics.

Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, leveraging log files and configuration files.

Create detailed API documentation with

Swagger / OpenAPI specifications .

Integrate DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and automation to improve efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of integration solutions with business needs.

Technical Skills – Must Have

Strong hands-on experience with

WSO2 API Manager

and related tools (APICTL, WSO2 Update Tool, etc.).

Proficiency in

Java

and

JavaScript

for API and integration development.

In-depth knowledge of

REST, SOAP, XML, JSON .

Expertise in

traffic management, throttling, caching, and load balancing .

Familiarity with

deployment patterns and containerized deployments

in WSO2.

Strong experience with

CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools .

Technical Skills – Good to Have

Experience working on

Linux / Unix OS

environments.

Scripting and automation skills using

Bash, Python, or Go .
