Job Title : Security Engineer – DevSecOps & Data Automation

Experience : 8+ Years

Location : Pune (Hybrid)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer – DevSecOps & Data Automation with strong expertise in cloud security and modern infrastructure practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures, ensuring compliance, and driving automation across cloud environments and containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Secure and manage AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Configure and optimize monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor to ensure system reliability and proactive incident management.
  • Administer and secure databases (e.g., MongoDB) with best practices for performance and security.
  • Perform Linux system administration tasks, including patching, hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply cybersecurity best practices to safeguard applications, infrastructure, and data.
  • Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of systems.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration, monitoring, and security operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering / DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud Security .
  • Proficiency in AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes .
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor or similar monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of database management (MongoDB preferred).
  • Solid background in Linux system administration .
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, and best practices .
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
