Job Overview

Spandana Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time junior position requiring a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of work experience. The role entails delivering quality patient care and ensuring all prescribed treatments are administered efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Patient Care (Mandatory skill): Ability to provide compassionate and effective care to all patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Medication Administration (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in administering medications accurately and responsibly as per physician orders.
• IV Therapy (Mandatory skill): Skilled in initiating and managing IV therapy, ensuring proper handling and monitoring of IV sites.
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): Competence in updating and maintaining accurate patient records using EHR systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Certified in BLS, with the ability to perform emergency procedures when necessary.
• Telemetry: Experience in monitoring and interpreting telemetry data to track patient cardiovascular status.
• Wound Care: Expertise in assessing and managing wounds, ensuring appropriate cleaning, dressing, and healing process.
• Infection Control: Knowledgeable in implementing infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure patient safety.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions, reporting any changes to the medical team promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following hospital protocols and standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress and care provided.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve nursing skills and stay updated with medical best practices.
• Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are maintained at all times within the healthcare setting.
