Position : HR and Tech Manager
Location : Bangalore or New Delhi, India
Role Overview :
The HR and Tech Manager at Novistra Capital plays a critical role in ensuring smooth internal operations across HR, IT and Operations. This role supports the team by managing systems, processes, and day-to-day tasks so that the business can function efficiently. The person in this role is highly organized, proactive, and able to coordinate across multiple functions with discretion and professionalism. The role requires excellent communication skills to handle a multi-cultural team.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Human Resources
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
- Develop and maintain structured internship programs and mentoring initiatives
- Assist in onboarding new employees and conduct exit formalities
- Maintain employee records, leave management, and holiday calendars
- Maintain HR compliances across all offices
- Support HR initiatives related to team engagement, training, and internal communication
2. Technology and IT Support
Manage the IT / software plan for the firm including onboarding new systems and finding ways to optimize current processes / workflowsManage IT assets including hardware, software, and peripheralsEnsure timely renewal of software subscriptions and compliance with licensing requirementsAddress cybersecurity training, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as neededSupport ad-hoc IT requirements for employees and office technology needs with the help of vendors3. Operations and Administration
Serve as the first point of contact for employeesAssist with general office administration for all Novistra Capital offices along with admin team.Coordinate with vendors, manage supplies, and maintain office systems.Handle ad-hoc requests from the leadership team and employees.Ensure compliance with internal travel policies and manage travel budgetsAssist leadership with documentation, reporting, and other ad-hoc operational tasksProvide operational support for special projects (team offsite), events, and client engagementsSkills & Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in HR, IT or related field; relevant experience may substitute3–7 years of experience in HR in an early-stage companyProficiency with HR tools, and familiarity with employee lifecycle management, talent managementHands-on experience with IT systems, software management, and cybersecurity awarenessStrong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive matters.Key Attributes
