Senior Test Automation Engineer

Core Skills & Responsibilities

Develop automated test cases using tools such as

Playwright ,

Karate , and

JMeter .

Ensure testability and quality are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

Collaborate with product owners to define and accurately test acceptance criteria.

Proactively contribute to strategies for improving overall delivery.

Maintain metrics related to test coverage and defects; aim to increase coverage and reduce defects.

Define comprehensive and clear test reports and templates.

Ensure cost- and time-efficient testing by establishing continuous feedback loops, increasing coverage, and eliminating inefficiencies.

Investigate and implement techniques such as

CI ,

TDD / BDD , and automated testing to maximize ROI.

Develop and implement automated test solutions using

NBLY

standards.

Develop and maintain custom software using NBLY standard coding practices.

Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Foster a collaborative environment focused on communication and problem-solving, aligned with the NBLY Code of Values.

Assist the team in researching and recommending solutions to meet business requirements.

Maintain confidentiality of personal information.

Interface professionally with colleagues and be a trusted go-to person.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Required Attributes

12+ years of software testing experience.

Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in a

Continuous Delivery

model.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Extensive experience in developing automated test cases using

Playwright ,

Karate , and

JMeter .

Working knowledge of

SQL .

Strong understanding of

API technologies

including

SOAP

and

REST .

Proficient in

JSON

and

XML .

Experience in

Java ,

JavaScript , or similar programming languages.

Skilled in test planning, estimation, risk analysis, and test case design.

Experience in monitoring test progress and analyzing defect trends.

Ability to identify, track, and analyze test requirements.

Expertise in determining appropriate test types, methods, and automation strategies.

Excellent knowledge of test methodologies and development approaches such as

Kanban

and

Waterfall .

Experience working with offshore testing resources in a service delivery model.
