Account Executive

Accountant (Full-Time, On-Prem) — Kalash Jewellers, Kamothe Location : Kamothe, Navi Mumbai (on-premise, 6 days / week)

Experience : Minimum 1 year in Accounting with hands-on GST

Joining : ASAP (preference to candidates from Kamothe / Panvel / Kharghar / Kalamboli / Belapur)

About the Role We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Accountant who can own day-to-day books, GST compliances, stock reconciliations for jewellery, and vendor / customer accounting—so our marketing and sales can scale with confidence.

Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Reconciliations : Daily purchase / sales / expense entries, bank & cash reconciliation , petty cash control.

GST Compliances (Jewellery focus) :

Prepare & file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B ; reconcile 2A / 2B and follow up on mismatch / ITC issues.

Ensure correct HSN (e.g., 7113 – Gold Jewellery) usage, proper treatment of making charges , and tax breakup on invoices.

Invoicing & Documentation : E-invoices / e-way bills (as applicable), credit / debit notes, vendor agreements, customer KYC where needed.

TDS / TCS Basics : Coordinate with CA for TDS / TCS workings on applicable transactions; maintain ledgers & challans.

Inventory Support (Jewellery) : Coordinate with showroom / karigar for purity-wise stock (22K / 18K) , net / gross weight, wastage tracking, and periodic physical stock checks ; flag variances.

Vendor & Customer Accounts : Ledger scrutiny, ageing, payment follow-ups, settlement of old balances.

Reporting : Weekly MIS : sales, gross margin snapshots, input tax position, expense trends; month-end closing support.

Audit & Compliance : Support statutory / internal audits; maintain neat vouchers, bills, and digital records.

Must-Have Skills 1+ year accounting experience (mandatory)

Working GST experience (returns, reconciliations, documentation) (mandatory)

Tally Prime / ERP proficiency + strong Excel / Google Sheets

Accuracy, speed, and clear documentation habits

On-premise availability in Kamothe (Mon–Sat)

Good-to-Have Jewellery / retail domain experience

E-invoicing / e-way bill familiarity

Knowledge of basic payroll / attendance entries

Comfort coordinating with CA and showroom teams

Education B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA (preferred), or equivalent strong accounting foundation
