We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Cluster Head of Pre-Sales to lead our pre-sales function of few of our residential projects in Chennai. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the entire pre-sales lifecycle, from initial customer engagement to final closure support. The ideal candidate will be the custodian of the customer's first impression, architecting compelling value propositions that translate our world-class properties into dream homes. You will lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of pre-sales managers and executives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision :
- Develop and execute the pre-sales strategy for Urbanrise in the Chennai market, aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to refine the pre-sales approach and value proposition.
- Act as a key advisor to the sales and marketing leadership on product positioning, pricing strategies, and market feedback.
2. Team Management & Development :
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of pre-sales managers and executives.Set clear performance goals (KPIs), conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.Oversee the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new pre-sales team members.3. Pre-Sales Process Excellence :
Own and continuously improve the end-to-end pre-sales process, from lead handover from marketing to sales-ready customer handover.Ensure the team conducts detailed customer needs analysis and presents tailored solutions that highlight the unique selling points (USPs) of Urbanrise properties.Standardize and enhance the quality of site presentations, model apartment tours, and collateral used by the team.4. Collateral & Knowledge Management :
Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality pre-sales collateral, including Sales Pitches, brochures, presentations, FAQs, and comparison sheets.Ensure the entire pre-sales and sales team is thoroughly updated on project specifications, amenities, payment plans, and possession timelines.Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge, market differentiators, and sales techniques.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and provide ongoing support to help close deals.Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide insights for campaign development and lead generation strategies.Liaise with Project, Design, and Legal teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is communicated to customers.Qualifications & Experience
Any Bachelor’s degree and an MBA is highly preferred.10+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, Inbound & Outbound Sales & Contact Center, with a minimum of 4-5 years in a leadership capacity.Required Skills & Competencies
