Job Overview

SAMS KAPPAL COLLEGE is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Telecaller to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of work experience. The Telecaller will play a key role in engaging with prospective students and stakeholders through effective communication and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have essential skills in Microsoft Excel and effective communication.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in effective communication, both verbal and written, to engage with prospective students and clients. (Mandatory skill)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for maintaining and updating call records and databases. (Mandatory skill)
  • Proven skills in lead generation to identify and reach new potential students and clients. (Mandatory skill)
  • Familiarity with CRM software and tools to efficiently manage and track customer interactions.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce for organizing and tracking leads and communication records.
  • Active listening skills to understand and address the inquiries and needs of students effectively.
  • Negotiation skills to persuade potential students and clients towards institute goals and enrollments.
  • Strong time management abilities to balance various tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective students and provide them with information about courses offered.
  • Maintain and update records of interactions and calls in the CRM system effectively.
  • Generate leads by identifying prospective students and directing them towards enrollment processes.
  • Address queries from prospective students regarding courses, fees, and other institute-related details.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and engagement during every interaction with clients and students.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and admissions team to align efforts and improve recruitments.
  • Meet and exceed daily and monthly call quotas and lead generation targets set by the management.
  • Continuously improve communication and telemarketing techniques through feedback and training.
