About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IoT Senior Consultant to join our Professional Services team , driving the successful adoption and implementation of Cumulocity IoT across our global customer base.

This role demands strong technical expertise in IoT solution architecture , cloud platforms , device integration , and application integration , along with fluent English communication skills .

As an IoT Senior Consultant , you will collaborate closely with customers across the APJ and ME regions , as well as with global consulting, delivery, and regional teams , to design, develop, deploy, and optimize IoT solutions leveraging Cumulocity IoT’s platform capabilities .

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture : Design scalable, secure, and efficient IoT solutions using Cumulocity IoT and related technologies.
Customer Engagement : Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical solutions and implementing those solutions.
Implementation Support : Assist customers and partners in the successful deployment and integration of Cumulocity IoT into their existing ecosystems.
Work with global customers (primarily across the APJ and ME regions ) to define, design, and implement IoT solutions using Cumulocity IoT.
Lead device onboarding, data modeling, and integration with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, Data Lakes, AI / ML platforms, etc.).
Configure and customize Cumulocity IoT applications , including Angular Apps, Smart Rules, Analytics Builder, and Device Management.
Provide technical guidance on architecture best practices , security , data management , and performance optimization .
Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to align customer requirements with platform capabilities and roadmap.
Conduct workshops, training, and technical enablement sessions for customers and partners.
Support proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations and assist with solution deployment and post-production support.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high-quality customer experience throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in IoT, Cloud, or Digital Transformation projects .

Strong understanding of IoT solution architecture , device communication protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, LwM2M), and data integration patterns .

Hands-on experience with Cumulocity IoT or similar IoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT Core, PTC ThingWorx, etc.).

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices-based architectures .

Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, JAVA or C#, Angular, scripting (Python, JavaScript) , and data analytics workflows .

Strong knowledge of security principles , including data encryption , identity management , and certificate-based authentication .

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English .

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment .
