Position Overview

Location : Bangalore, Karnataka

Department : New Product Development (NPD)

Experience Level : 0–2 years (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply)

Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic NPD Executive to join our New Product Development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in product development, prototype creation, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to bringing new products from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Coordination

  • Collaborate with NPD team members and skilled workmen to oversee prototype development from initiation to completion
  • Ensure timely delivery of prototypes while maintaining quality standards
  • Document development processes and maintain project timelines

Market Research & Sourcing

  • Conduct field visits to local markets in Bangalore to identify and source innovative materials and hardware components
  • Research emerging trends in materials and product components
  • Build and maintain a database of potential suppliers and material sources
  • Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Coordinate with suppliers to develop samples and prototypes according to project specifications
  • Negotiate terms and ensure quality compliance from external vendors
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers
  • Field Operations

  • Travel approximately 30% of the time within Bangalore for prototype-related activities and vendor coordination
  • Conduct site visits and supplier meetings as required
  • Represent the company professionally during external engagements
  • Required Qualifications

    Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Design (B.Design) OR
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering OR
  • Diploma in Interior Design
  • Essential Requirements

  • Valid two-wheeler driving license and own vehicle for field visits
  • Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Experience & Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Bangalore's local markets and supplier ecosystem
  • Understanding of various materials, hardware, and modular product components
  • Prior exposure to product development or manufacturing processes
