Senior Network Engineer (IP / MPLS)

Location : Pune / Hyderabad

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on IP / MPLS technologies to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IP / MPLS networks, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS VPN, L3VPN, VPLS, and other advanced routing protocols.

In-depth knowledge of Nokia 7750 SR, 7210 SAS, and other Nokia router platforms.

Hands-on experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Experience with network security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.

Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.

Collaborate with other network engineers, system administrators, and application teams to resolve network issues.

Document and maintain network configurations and operational procedures.

Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in IP / MPLS networking.

Participate in on-call rotation for network support.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8-15 years of experience in IP / MPLS networking with a strong focus on Nokia routers.

In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS VPN, L3VPN, VPLS, and other advanced routing protocols.

Hands-on experience with Nokia 7750 SR, 7210 SAS, and other Nokia router platforms.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with network automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Knowledge of network virtualization technologies (SDN, NFV).

Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, Nokia Certified Professional).

Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
