Group Head - SEO

Pepper ( is building India’s largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals, and 40+ global languages.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Head - SEO to lead our search team and drive our search engine optimization efforts to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies, managing a team of SEO professionals, and delivering measurable results for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategy Development : Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, improve website rankings, and drive qualified traffic and leads for clients.
• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the team achieves individual and collective goals.
• Client Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO clients, build strong relationships, and effectively communicate SEO strategies, performance metrics, and recommendations to drive client satisfaction and retention.
• Technical SEO : Oversee technical SEO audits, website optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal website performance, crawlability, and indexability.
• Content Strategy : Collaborate with content teams to develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO goals, including keyword research, content optimization, and link building initiatives.
• Analytics and Reporting : Utilize data-driven insights to monitor SEO performance, track key metrics, and provide regular performance reports and actionable recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay Updated : Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and digital marketing to continuously innovate and enhance our SEO offerings.
