ICT Shared Services Project Manager

A government agency is transitioning its ICT services from an internal model to a shared services arrangement with another department. They are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead this transition and provide strategic and operational support to the in-house ICT team.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery capabilities within a Federal Government context.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals

Lead the transition of ICT services, ensuring continuity, value for money, and fit-for-purpose outcomes

Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and senior leadership

Collaborate across business units to understand and deliver on technology needs

Build and manage relationships between departments, including contract negotiation

Oversee ICT operations, including team leadership, budget oversight, and resource management

Ensure system security, reliability, and risk mitigation strategies are in place

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
