Automation Test Engineer - Python

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The role requires proficiency in modern automation tools and scripting languages, with a focus on web application testing within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to identify software defects and verify fixes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid release cycles.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align testing efforts with development progress.
• Stay updated with the latest automation testing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve test processes and frameworks.
