Job Title : US IT Recruiter

Job Summary :

A US IT Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and placing qualified IT professionals in contract or full-time positions with clients across the United States. This role requires a strong understanding of technical requirements, the ability to build talent pipelines, and a consultative approach to managing candidates and clients throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sourcing and Screening :

Actively source, identify, and screen IT professionals through job boards (Dice, Monster, LinkedIn), social media, referrals, and internal databases.

Work closely with Account Managers and clients to understand job requirements, technical needs, and organizational culture.

Conduct interviews to assess technical and cultural fit, career goals, and availability. Provide feedback and guidance to candidates throughout the process.

Match suitable candidates to open roles and submit them with detailed summaries. Prepare candidates for interviews and manage interview scheduling.

Negotiate pay rates, work terms, and close offers in alignment with client budgets and candidate expectations.

Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future requirements by staying in regular contact and understanding their skills and interests.

Maintain accurate and updated records of candidate interactions, submissions, and placement activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Stay up to date on current hiring trends, technologies in demand, and labor market conditions.

Essential Skills :

Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with candidates, clients, and internal teams.

Ability to influence and negotiate with both clients and candidates effectively.

Understanding of IT roles, technologies, and terminologies (, Java, .NET, DevOps, AWS, etc.).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple requirements and candidates simultaneously.

Driven to meet and exceed recruiting targets and timelines.

Ability to handle objections, resolve candidate / client issues, and think strategically to overcome hiring challenges.
