Job Title : L2 Nutanix Engineer.

Location : pan india ( relocate to Dubai ).

Experience : 6 to 10 Years.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 Nutanix Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team.

The candidate will provide intermediate-level technical support for the Nutanix platform and related virtualization environments, handle escalated incidents from L1 teams, and assist in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise hyperconverged systems.

This role requires expertise in Nutanix, virtualization, and enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and security of the organizations systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Incident Management and Troubleshooting :

Handle escalated issues from L1 support and provide timely resolutions.
Perform advanced troubleshooting for Nutanix Platform, hyperconverged systems, and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere ESXi, Hyper-V, and AHV.
Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective measures.

System Maintenance And Monitoring :

Monitor system health and performance using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar platforms.

Perform routine maintenance tasks including AOS / NOS, hypervisor, and firmware upgrades, patch management, and system backups.

Ensure systems are operating optimally, securely, and reliably.

Configuration And Deployment :

Assist in installation and cluster configuration of Nutanix systems.

Support system upgrades and migrations in collaboration with L3 engineers.

Implement and monitor disaster recovery (DR) and data protection solutions.

Documentation And Reporting :

Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and changes for management review.

Collaboration :

Work closely with L3 engineers to escalate complex issues and implement advanced solutions.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware replacements and support.

Education :

Qualifications and Skills :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Experience :

610 years in system engineering, IT support, or enterprise infrastructure roles.

Technical Skills :

Administration and support of Nutanix storage, compute, and networking configurations.

Expertise in hyperconverged platforms (AHV, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).

Design and implementation of highly available and DR solutions.

Experience with backup and recovery tools.

Proficiency with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).

Certifications (Preferred) :

ITIL Foundation Certification.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle pressure effectively.
