Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer / SDET with strong experience in REST API and Web Automation testing . The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Java-based automation frameworks and capable of independently driving test automation initiatives .

Job Title : Automation Engineer / SDET

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Location : Bengaluru or Bangalore (Work from Office)

Notice Period : Immediate joiners

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design , develop , and maintain robust automation test suites for REST APIs using tools like Postman and Rest Assured .
  • Perform Web Automation testing using Selenium or similar tools integrated with Java frameworks .
  • Independently handle test automation framework design and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA team to improve testability and ensure high-quality releases .
  • Build and maintain tools / scripts to support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines .
  • Work with cross-functional teams to strategize test coverage, automation approach, and quality goals.
  • Contribute and advocate for a test automation roadmap, including evaluation and integration of new tools and technologies.

Must-Have Skills :

  • Automation Tools : Rest Assured, Postman, Selenium (Web Automation)
  • Programming Languages : Java
  • Framework Development : Application Frameworks (TestNG / JUnit, Maven / Gradle)
  • Others : CI / CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions), Git, Agile Methodologies

    • Good-to-Have :

  • Experience in UI test automation using Selenium or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Exposure to cloud environments ( AWS, Azure ) or containerized setups ( Docker, Kubernetes ).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms ( AWS / Azure )
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks or cross-platform testing tools
