Job description

Role : JavaScript Developer

Experience : 5- 8 years

Work Location : Kochi

Work Mode : Hybrid

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend developers, QA) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Optimize application performance, including load times and memory usage.
  • Contribute to CI / CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.
  • Participate actively in Agile / Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Stay updated with emerging JavaScript frameworks, tools, and industry trends.

Required Skillsets :

  • 5- 8 years of strong professional experience in JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Hands-on expertise with modern frameworks / libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficiency in state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).
  • Experience in building reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability.
  • Skilled in asynchronous programming, Promises, and Fetch / Axios for API handling.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Proficient in Git and version control best practices.
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies and working in collaborative environments.
  • Deployment experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and debugging tools.
