Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Network and Cybersecurity Engineer with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and securing enterprise-level networks. The ideal candidate will hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification and have hands-on experience in network infrastructure, firewall configuration, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor network traffic and implement security controls to prevent unauthorized access, threats, and attacks.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, IDS / IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Perform vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and remediation to strengthen security posture.
  • Respond to security incidents, troubleshoot network issues, and provide root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
  • Document network diagrams, configurations, and security policies.
  • Stay updated with emerging threats, technologies, and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).

Qualifications

  • CCNA Certification (Required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.), and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Expertise with Cisco Packet Tracer.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
