The Spend Analyst will be responsible for analyzing organizational spend data to identify cost optimization opportunities, improve procurement efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial knowledge, and proficiency in data visualization tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze spend data across categories to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards using Excel, Access, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to support sourcing strategies and budgeting.
- Validate and reconcile data from ERP systems (preferably SAP) for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide insights on Cost of Production and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for decision-making.
- Assist in forecasting and spend planning based on historical and market CA / MBA in Finance, Accounts, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Accounts, Cost of Production, and COGS.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
