Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic thinker and trusted advisor with a passion for insights to join our team as Manager - Consulting & Growth . This opportunity is ideal for someone who excels at building strong client relationships and has a deep understanding of tech industry trends and dynamics.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients — helping them navigate industry shifts and unlock new opportunities by leveraging Counterpoint's robust repository of data, insights, and expertise. This is not a traditional sales role; it is a consultative, relationship-focused position at the intersection of research, strategy, and client success.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Strategic Solutions
- Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand client goals, industry challenges, and strategic needs to co-create tailored research and consulting solutions.
- Act as a thought partner to clients and position Counterpoint as a trusted strategic advisor.
Consulting and Business Development
Lead strategic discussions with clients to upsell and cross-sell consulting engagements, subscriptions, and bespoke solutions.Support clients across the research lifecycle — from requirement gathering to final delivery — ensuring relevance and impact.Collaborate with analysts and service leads to frame compelling research deliverables and consulting proposals.Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing and analyst teams to shape go-to-market strategies and improve client offerings.Act as the voice of the client internally, ensuring client needs are well understood and addressed by the research team.Client Onboarding
Lead onboarding for new clients and help them navigate Counterpoint's offerings to maximize value.Performance Metrics and Reporting
Track and report key performance indicators related to client growth, engagement, and satisfaction.Provide regular business development updates to senior leadership.Proposal and Contract Management
Lead creation and negotiation of proposals, MSAs, SoWs, and contracts, ensuring alignment with both client needs and internal policies.Client Feedback and Growth
Actively gather client feedback to enhance services, identify gaps, and inform future offerings.Execute client growth plans and help shape long-term account strategies.Requirements :
5–7 years of experience in consulting, client engagement, partnerships, business development, or research advisoryStrong background in B2B client-facing roles — ideally from consulting, strategy, market research, or tech servicesExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable client outcomesProven ability to manage enterprise-level relationships and drive revenue through consultative sellingDeep interest in technology trends, innovation, and business strategyComfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and global team environmentsAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and balance multiple, disparate work streamsThe candidate should be comfortable working with a revenue targetPositive attitude and collaborative approach. Teamwork capabilities are fundamental. Flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving are also required.
