Senior Tool Designer – Precision Engineering & NPD

Experience : 8+ Years

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana

Department : Tool Design / New Product Development (NPD)

Required Skills & Competencies :

Expertise in injection mold design and tooling for high-precision components.

Proficiency in CAD software : SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or equivalent.

Experience with mold flow simulation tools : Moldex3D, Autodesk Moldflow, or similar.

Strong understanding of polymer behaviour, mold materials, and machining processes.

Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, and dimensional control.

Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Thermal expansion and distortion / Fatigue and cracking / Loss of dimensional accuracy

Experience with direct and indirect hot stamping methods Familiarity with segmented tooling (heated / cooled zones) for multi-phase forming
