Job description

Company Description

Inkers Technology, headquartered in Bengaluru with offices in the USA and UAE, is at the forefront of designing and developing deep, large-scale AI and ML solutions for the construction industry. We specialize in transforming real-world environments into highly accurate 3D point clouds using advanced scanning sensors, including our proprietary Lithic (LiDAR Thermal IMU Camera) technology, and state-of-the-art algorithms.

Our flagship AI-powered construction management solution, Observance, leverages computer vision, deep neural networks, cloud-based processing, and precision scanning to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in construction processes. By bridging the gap between tangible reality and the intricate world of design, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering transformative solutions across diverse sectors.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a  Senior Electrical BIM Engineer  to lead the end-to-end modelling and coordination of  low voltage (LV)  and  medium / high voltage (MV / HV)  electrical systems in complex, large-scale projects — from design development (LOD 300) through fabrication (LOD 400) and as-built (LOD 500). You will own the electrical layer within federated BIM environments, ensuring system integrity, constructability, and seamless integration with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop comprehensive  electrical BIM models  in  Revit  across all voltage levels, covering :
  • High / Medium Voltage (HV / MV)  distribution – transformers, ring main units (RMUs), HT / LT panels, switchgear, bus ducts, rising mains, feeder pillars, and cable routing.
  • Low Voltage (LV)  systems – final distribution boards (DBs), sub-mains, small power layouts, lighting circuits, control gear, and protective devices.
  • ELV systems  – structured cabling, data / voice networks, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA / BGM, BMS interfaces, and security systems.
  • Earthing and lightning protection systems  – grounding grids, earthing pits, bonding networks, and surge protection.
  • Build parametric, data-rich Revit families with accurate  load data, circuiting, cable sizing, panel schedules, breaker configurations, diversity factors, and protective coordination .
  • Perform advanced  clash detection and resolution  across disciplines using  Navisworks Manage  and drive coordination sign-offs.
  • Produce detailed  shop drawings ,  single-line diagrams (SLDs) , riser diagrams, panel schedules, cable tray routing layouts, and switchroom layouts directly from the BIM model.
  • Ensure correct  space planning and clearance zones  for panels, switchgear, and risers, validating constructability and maintenance access.
  • Support  model-based BOQ generation  for cable lengths, tray quantities, terminations, switchgear, and panel components.
  • Coordinate with site services and infrastructure teams using  Autodesk Civil 3D  for external power distribution, utility tie-ins, and underground cable routing.
  • Manage field changes, RFIs, and redlines to maintain accurate  LOD 500 as-built  models with complete metadata for facility management.
  • Contribute technical expertise during coordination meetings and proactively resolve interface conflicts early in the design phase.

What we are looking for :

  • 5+ years  of hands-on BIM experience in electrical systems design and coordination for at least one major  hospital, mixed-use development, luxury hotel, commercial complex, or residential project  in  India or the UAE .
  • Proven expertise in  Revit MEP ,  Navisworks Manage , and working knowledge of  Autodesk Civil 3D  for external service coordination.
  • Strong understanding of  LV and MV / HV electrical systems , power distribution hierarchy, cable sizing, short-circuit calculations, protection coordination, and load balancing.
  • Experience delivering  LOD 300–500  models, including GFC sets, shop drawings, fabrication details, and as-built documentation.
  • Knowledge of  NBC, IEC, IS, and local authority standards , structured naming conventions, and metadata-rich modelling.
  • Experience working within  ISO 19650-compliant BEP workflows .
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with architecture, structure, MEP, and site teams.
  • Work Location : Bangalore (On-site)

Salary : No bar for the right candidate
