Job description

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER .

Qualifications :

Snowflake Expertise :

3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (recent project must be on Snowflake)
Proficiency in Snowflake SQL, developing complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts
Experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Snowpark, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, and Data Sharing
DBT (Data Build Tool) :
2+ years of relevant experience building, testing, and deploying transformations in DBT

ETL & Development Skills :

2+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging software systems

Strong scripting skills in Unix & Python

Experience using Matillion (preferred)

Good understanding of data warehouse concepts – OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data Modeling

Additional Skills (Good to Have) :

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Exposure to AWS / Azure data ecosystems

Experience in cross-team collaboration and requirement gathering

Soft Skills :

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Effective communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
