The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, youll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. Youll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients which means some of the biggest in the world.

Theres never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. Youll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. Youll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10 Years of technical hands-on experience
• Administer multiple Linux servers running in a high availability environment and experience on Linux systems performance, tuning, and enhancements
• Install patches, configure machine and provide overall support of the Linux environment
• Experience on working on shared delivery model, Serve as an escalation point to resolve problems on Linux servers and user environments, Debug / troubleshoot & Performance tuning on Linux etc.
• Should have strong OS administration skills on Linux RHEL (5,6,7,8, 9) / Cent OS, Linux SUSE (12, 13, 15), Solaris OS Administration
• Exposure to Containers / Dockers, Microservices architecture, Open Shift
• Experience on Cloud Iaas / PaaS and experience on Yum & Satellite Servers and Patch management via Ansible.
• Strong Experience in fixing and assessment on Linux OS Security, Vulnerability & Hardening.
• Strong Hands-on experience of system management, system setup and managing Linux as well as configuring them. Demonstrable experience in UNIX, Linux Server Support, designing, troubleshooting and storage implementation.
• Strong Technical leadership and End to End driving the Issue Resolutions including OEM and vendors
• Expertise in Network and Firewalls along with knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels.
• Any Graduate Or B.E OR B.Tech
