Sr. Test Automation Engineer with Java

ProArch is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in test automation to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium and Java , ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional automation testing , Page Object Model (POM) framework , and experience integrating automation frameworks with JIRA for seamless defect tracking and test management

Job Responsibilities :

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles.
• Experience in testing GUI applications, web services, and web applications (both backend and frontend).
• Skilled in backend testing with SQL queries for data integrity.
• Develops Test Plans and Cases based on requirements.
• Creates and maintains functional automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
• Implements and optimizes the Page Object Model (POM) framework.
• Designs and executes automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Integrates automation test suites with JIRA for management and tracking.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage.
• Implements continuous integration and testing strategies.
• Mentors manual testers in automation skills development.
• Troubleshoots automation issues and provides solutions.
• Optimizes test execution through parallel execution and improved efficiency.
• Stays updated with emerging technologies to enhance automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
