About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Analyst with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in spatial data analysis and visualization using tools such as Power BI, ArcGIS, and QGIS. You will play a key role in turning complex geographic data into actionable insights to support decision-making and planning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, analyze, and interpret spatial data using ArcGIS, QGIS, and other GIS tools.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to communicate geographic trends and insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planners, engineers, and data scientists to understand project requirements and deliver spatial solutions.
  • Perform data cleaning, processing, and integration of geospatial datasets from various sources.
  • Support site selection, environmental analysis, demographic mapping, and other GIS-related studies.
  • Maintain and update GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports, maps, and presentations to support project stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Stay updated on emerging GIS technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related fields.
  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in GIS data analysis and mapping.
  • Strong experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, and related spatial analysis tools.
  • Proficient in data visualization and reporting using Power BI.
  • Experience in integrating GIS with other data platforms and workflows.
  • Solid understanding of coordinate systems, spatial data formats, and geoprocessing tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
