Design Engineer

job overview : we are seeking design engineers to join our team for product design, development, and manufacturing support. the ideal candidates will have a good understanding of mechanical part drawings, cad tools, and machining processes.key responsibilities : understand and interpret part drawings and specifications. create and modify 2d / 3d part models using autocad (2d) or nx (3d). prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, and documentation for production. conduct part measurement and gd&t checks for accuracy. support machining part design development for cnc & vmc operations. assist in jig and fixture design & development (preferred). collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturable designs.required skills & competencies : proficiency in autocad 2d or nx 3d modeling. understanding of mechanical part manufacturing processes. knowledge of gd&t, measurement tools, and part inspection. basic knowledge of cnc & vmc operations. ability to work independently and as part of a team. jig & fixture design experience is an added advantage.
