Junior Accountant Job Description
The role of a Junior Accountant involves managing complete bookkeeping in Zoho Books, encompassing invoices, vendor bills, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, and adjustments.
You will be responsible for creating and managing international client export invoices in Zoho Books and handling bank reconciliations.
Key responsibilities also include recording and tracking accruals, prepaids, and adjustments for accurate reporting.
Furthermore, you will manage vendor invoices, expense tracking, and payroll processing in Zoho Books or related tools.
In addition to these tasks, you will handle Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings, and Softex documentation for IT / ITES compliance.
Your duties will also involve overseeing month-end and year-end closures with audit-ready documentation.
Lastly, you will coordinate with auditors and senior accountants to ensure statutory compliance and smooth audit processes.
