Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, reporting, and dashboarding disciplines.

They should be an analytical thinker who pays significant attention to detail in their work.

Key responsibilities include designing and building solutions that meet business needs, implementing warehouse and reporting solutions, and ensuring data is accessible and structured to facilitate reporting needs.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets, creating and optimizing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse, etc., and relational database design and architecture is also highly desirable.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to self-organize, prioritize, and track tasks.

• Design and build solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Extract data from bespoke applications and third-party products.
• Consolidate multiple data sources into a data warehouse and / or data lake.
• Ensure data is accessible and structured to facilitate reporting needs.
• Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization and reporting tools.
• Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor and alert issues proactively.
• Implement best practices.
• Collaborate as part of an agile team to design, develop, and maintain software.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize and plan technical debt remediation and refactoring of data structures and stored procedures.
• Design and implement repeatable data pull requests and execute ad-hoc requests as needed.
