About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Amdocs Billing Platform Engineer

to architect, enhance, and sustain high-performance billing solutions for large telecom programs. This role requires deep platform-level expertise, a strong understanding of Amdocs product architecture, and the ability to drive technical excellence across complex billing landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust Amdocs billing solutions that meet high availability and scalability requirements

Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of billing modules including rating, charging, and invoicing

Optimize billing system performance through proactive tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning

Partner with cross-functional teams in CRM, ordering, and mediation to ensure seamless data flow across the BSS stack

Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver sustainable fixes

Evaluate new product capabilities and lead upgrades, enhancements, and platform modernization efforts

Establish engineering standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks within the billing domain

Required Skills and Experience

10–15 years of experience in

Amdocs Billing Platform engineering and solution delivery

Strong expertise in Amdocs C1, ECE, AR, and related billing modules

Proven ability to design and optimize high-throughput rating and charging systems

Experience integrating Amdocs billing with CRM, ordering, mediation, and finance systems

Solid understanding of BSS / OSS processes

and telecom revenue management workflows

Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to manage critical issues under tight timelines

Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to

cloud-hosted Amdocs deployments

or hybrid architectures

Hands-on experience with

DevOps pipelines ,

CI / CD automation , and

monitoring frameworks

for billing environments

Familiarity with

convergent billing systems

and emerging digital monetization models
