AEM front developer - (5 years Exp)

Adobe AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) developers need strong foundational web skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with proficiency in Node.Js and npm / yarn for development tools and dependency management.

Experience with Git for version control and an understanding of the serverless, microservices-focused architecture of EDS are crucial. AEM's block-based architecture, and building fast, high-performance websites.

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript :

Essential for creating and styling web pages, and for the basic development of components (blocks).

Required for local development environments, running build tools, and the serverless functions that power EDS.

Used to manage project dependencies and run scripts within the Node.Js ecosystem.

Git Enterprise :

Fundamental for managing code, performing basic operations like cloning, committing, and pushing changes, and collaborating with others.

Other area knowledge or experience in AEM :

Serverless Architecture :

Understanding the principles of serverless computing and how EDS utilizes microservices for rapid development and scaling

Block-Based Architecture :

Knowledge of AEM's pre-defined blocks and how to extend them to create custom content component

Performance Optimization :

Skills in building highly performant sites, including techniques like lazy / eager loading and continuous monitoring with Operational Telemetry to achieve high Lighthouse scores.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting :

Ability to identify and resolve issues within the serverless, composable environment.

Collaboration & Communication :

Essential for working effectively with other developers, designers, and content editors.

Building components or variations based on Figma Design

Experience to build dynamic components and authorable by Universal editor

Mobile first development

Good to have :

They should bring the knowledge of AEM integration with CRM, SMTP other Adobe platform like Launch, Ads, Target etc.

Backend side is Cloud Flare CDN / Worker Agent integration, CDN Invalidations, User workflow, Secure coding and good to have accessibility knowledge.
