Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant in Cardiothoracic Surgery, located in Puducherry. The Physician Assistant will assist in all aspects specifically vein taking procedures in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including pre-operative and post-operative care, conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests. The role also involves collaborating with the surgical team, providing patient education and ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards.

Qualifications

• B.Sc., Physician Assistant course with specific training and Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery, including assisting in complex surgical procedures
• Strong skills in conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans
• Proficiency in patient education and communication
• Ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
• Experience in a multi-specialty tertiary care hospital is a plus
