Principal Engineer- Web Development

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to help our fast-growing development team in Bangalore, India. You will play an important role and be a part of creating a product used by millions of people.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and build advanced web applications for desktop browsers, mobile web & feature phone
  • You work in agile cross-functional team to create great customer experiences and implement high quality code in to production
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • You prioritize performance in all your development - both network and rendering

Requirements :

  • Overall 5+ years of Engineering experience from which at least 2+ years of experience in creating web application backend using node.js and 1+ of experience in React.JS / PWA
  • At least 3 years of experience working with JavaScript, (Semantic) HTML5, CSS3
  • Hands-on experience with a MV
  • framework, such as Backbone.js
  • Experience with a utility library, such as Underscore.j s, jQuery OR Zepto
  • Experience with HTML templating using Jade(now pug) / Mustache / erb, or similar library
  • Experience in creating mobile-friendly UIs not only targeting smartphones, but feature phones as well (e.g. Opera Mini devices)
  • Understanding of adaptive and responsive design, and the combination of them
  • Worked in Agile teams in cross functional teams
  • Experience creating automated unit tests and functional test
