Job description

Position : Admission Counselor – BBA

Locations : IILM Lodhi Road

Role Overview

IILM is seeking a dynamic and motivated Admission Counselor to join its Admissions Team for the International BBA program offered in collaboration with IILM Lodhi Road. The counselor will engage with prospective students and parents, guide them through the admission process, and highlight the unique global exposure and opportunities of the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inquiries and leads for the International BBA – SBS (IILM Lodhi Road Collaboration) program across calls, WhatsApp, emails, walk-ins, and events.
  • Counsel students and parents about program highlights, international collaborations, curriculum, admission requirements, and global career pathways.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and conversions of leads into applications and admissions.
  • Achieve and exceed individual admission targets while contributing to team goals.
  • Maintain accurate records on CRM / ERP systems and generate timely reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing, outreach, and academic teams for campaigns, open houses, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Represent IILM at education fairs, international school visits, seminars, and outreach activities.
  • Deliver an excellent student and parent experience with a consultative, professional approach.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Strong counseling, persuasion, and presentation abilities.
  • Awareness of international higher education systems and student mobility trends.
  • Ability to engage with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up discipline with CRM familiarity.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2–4 years of experience in student counseling, preferably for international programs (UG / PG) or global education consultancy.
  • Freshers with excellent communication skills and passion for international education are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in admissions for universities / colleges with international tie-ups or study abroad pathways will be an advantage.
  • Freshers with exceptional communication and interest in international education may also be considered.
