Hiring : Web Developer (Wordpress + React / Next.js ) at Locaxion IQ LLC - Remote opportunity

Position : Web Developer (Wordpress + React / Next.js)

Experience : 5-7 years

Job Overview :

We are looking for a talented Web Developer proficient in WordPress and React with Next.js to design, develop, and maintain high-performance websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of modern front-end development practices, CMS customization, and an eye for creating seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.
  • Build modern web applications using React.js and Next.js frameworks.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, optimized, and SEO-friendly .
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and backend teams to deliver pixel-perfect solutions.
  • Implement and manage integrations with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
  • Maintain and optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress , React , and Next.js trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress development (themes, plugins, custom post types, hooks, REST API).
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js .
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, and MySQL .
  • Familiarity with Headless CMS approach (WordPress as headless + Next.js frontend).
  • Experience with Git / version control and deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, performance optimization, and security best practices .
  • Good understanding of UI / UX principles and cross-browser compatibility.
