Job description

Job Title : Manager Costing for a leading Food processing co at Hosur

Location : Hosur

Experience : 7+ years & above in any manufacturing co preferably from FMCG

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the product costing process, including standard cost setting, variance analysis, and cost optimization strategies.

Analyse manufacturing costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support operational efficiency initiatives.

Prepare and review monthly cost reports, inventory valuations, and profitability analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Sales) to ensure accurate cost allocation and control.

Ensure accurate and timely SAP entries related to costing (CO module), and support integration with FICO and SD modules.

Drive budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs.

Support internal and statutory audits with relevant costing data and documentation.

Continuously improve costing processes and systems to enhance transparency and decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

CMA / ICWA qualified.

5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the FMCG industry.

Strong expertise in SAP (CO, FICO, SD modules) and MS Excel.

In-depth knowledge of product costing, cost control, and inventory management.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
