SVKM’s NMIMS Bangalore invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor- Operations and Data Science at the School of Business Management. We seek dynamic candidates with a passion to contribute to academic excellence, innovation, and student development in a collaborative environment.

Job Title : Assistant Professor - Operations and Data Sciences

Location : School of Business Management, NMIMS Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures, case discussions, and practical sessions.
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research, and publish in reputed national and international journals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic committees.
  • Foster an environment of experiential learning, innovation, and analytical thinking among students.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, student mentoring, and institutional events.
  • Guide and mentor students in projects, internships, dissertations, and research activities.

Qualifying Criteria

  • The candidate must hold a Ph.D. with a First-Class Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration or a relevant management-related discipline.
  • The candidate should have published two research papers based on their Ph.D. work, with at least one publication in a refereed journal.
  • The candidate must have presented at least of two papers based on their Ph.D. research at conferences or seminars sponsored, funded, or supported by UGC / ICSSR / CSIR or any equivalent agency.
  • The published work may also include books, research periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, consultancy projects, or patents filed.
