Lead QA Engineer

Location : Kochi | Experience : 912 Years.

Role Overview :

Seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to define and drive QA strategy across mobile and web applications.

The role involves leading a QA team, managing automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor QA teams across projects.
  • Define QA processes and automation strategies.
  • Develop and execute test plans for Web & Mobile (Android / iOS).
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Java).
  • Ensure test coverage via specification reviews and backend validation (SQL).
  • Manage defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Drive QA process improvements and tool adoption.
  • Support Agile teams in sprints and ceremonies.

Required Skills :

  • 912 years in QA with Web / Mobile testing experience.
  • Proven leadership in QA strategy and execution.
  • Strong hands-on with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Java.
  • Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
  • SQL expertise for data validation.
  • Agile / Scrum experience; exposure to CI / CD and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

    • Preferred :

  • Degree in CS / IT or related field.
  • ISTQB or similar certification.
  • Exposure to performance, API, or security testing.
