Job Title : Application Lead Java / Spring Boot

Location : Hyderabad, India

Education : Full-time Graduation (15 years of education) Any Technical Degree

Experience Required : Minimum 8 years (with 5+ years in Application Development and 3+ years in Spring Boot RESTful APIs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Application Lead to join our growing team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and configuration of enterprise-grade applications. You will act as the primary point of contact for the application development team and will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end application development efforts, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Act as the technical point of contact for design and implementation decisions.
Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment to develop robust and secure APIs and microservices.
Drive best practices for coding, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Oversee issue resolution, debugging, and performance tuning using modern tools.
Manage code versioning and workflow using Git / Bitbucket.
Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using AWS, PCF, or OpenShift.
Ensure adherence to code quality metrics and resolve Sonar issues.
Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and other technical teams throughout the SDLC.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Strong Core Java skills with proven experience in scalable enterprise applications

Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA

Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices (minimum 3 years)

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and deployment using AWS, PCF, or OpenShift

Proficient in debugging complex applications and resolving performance issues

Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic or Dynatrace is desirable

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)

Good understanding of version control workflows (Git / Bitbucket)

Knowledge of code coverage tools and fixing SonarQube issues

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in business functionality

Availability to work in the 12 PM 10 PM IST shift

Additional Information :

This is a full-time, office-based role located in Hyderabad.

The candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and Java-based development.

Candidates should have completed 15 years of formal education from a recognized institution.
