Your responsibilities :

Operations & Monitoring :

Oversee and operate trading, clearing, and risk systems on Linux platforms.

Monitor and supervise daily start-of-day batch processing tasks.

Setup and improve monitoring and alerting.

Software Installations :

Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation, configuration, and updating software components to ensure seamless operations and system integrity.

Backup & Data Management :

Manage backups for databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and tape storage systems.

Incident & Problem Management :

Engage in incident management and troubleshoot production issues for prompt resolution.

Automation & Scripting :

Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for task automation and monitoring.

Design, build, maintain and extend existing and new Operational tools.

Team Collaboration :

2nd-level support for external and internal customers (in accordance with the particular shift schedule).

Participation in shift rotation as well as taking over on-call duties and occasional weekend work.

Your profile :

Education & Technical Skills :

Degree or training in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Proficient in Linux environments and skilled in Bash, Python scripting and SQL.

Experience in application support and operations.

Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers like GCP, Azure or AWS.

Experience with RedHat OpenShift Platform would be an asset.

Analytical & Organizational Abilities :

Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve production incidents.

Communication & Personal Attributes :

Excellent written and spoken English (German is a plus).

Resilient under pressure, self-motivated, and eager to learn within a collaborative team atmosphere.

Working Arrangement :

100% in-office presence is expected during the comprehensive training period, and subsequently, a minimum of 3 days per week in the office is required to ensure seamless collaboration and operational efficiency.
