Job Description – BRE Developer

Role Overview :

The BRE developer professional will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the Business Rule Engine (BRE) used in the personal loan journey. This role involves ensuring seamless rule execution, supporting credit policy implementation, and maintaining decision accuracy across the lending lifecycle — from application to disbursement.

Key Responsibilities :

1. BRE Management & Operations

• Manage daily operations of the BRE which includes different UW policies.
• Monitor rule executions, failure rates, and exception cases in real-time.
• Ensure that rule deployments, versioning, and rollback mechanisms are properly executed and documented.
• Support the implementation of new credit and operational rules in coordination with Product, Risk, and Tech teams.
