(High Salary) Welding Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Ensure the days production is completed with no production or quality deviation

Supporting Head Manufacturing to Maximise the day to day production activities & OTD

Responsible for productivity of the Plant

Supervising Assembly,sub Assembly, machine shop & Weld Shop

Ensure welding process Qualifications and up keep of welding machines & records in line with

ASME / relevant standards.

Qualifying the Welders and ensuring the Validity of the Qualification for different grades -

WPS and PQR as per ASME IX / IBR / relevant standards.

Post weld heat treatment of Body nozzle assemblies with specific heat treatment cycles according

to the MOC of the assembly, comply with the procedure and traceability.

Up-keeping of Baking & Holding Oven and Rectifiers.

Issue and control of Welding Rods as per approved procedure.

Preparing the record for heat treatment cycle and comply with procedure and traceability

Maintaining Calibration Records for Welding and heat treatment equipment

Knowledge on C12A welding and dissimilar material welding

Experience in handling the maintenance & operation of Phosporic plant

Upkeeping of Shop Floor, Effective utilisation of Men and Machine to improve OEE of all machines on continual basis

To implement the preventive maintenance schedule and document

Rejection and rework to be minimised

To Facilitate the plant to obtain Maximum utilisation

Planning of the loads, tools, jigs and fixtures.

Preferred candidate profile

BE Mechanical Engineering with CSWIP 3.1 or AWS Qualification is mandatory
