Position Summary:

Marriott has over a dozen Salesforce orgs, including one of the largest Salesforce implementations by number of users with the Empower platform used by over 100,000 associates across Hotels, Customer Engagement Centers, Sales and Bonvoy Program teams. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Salesforce Configuration Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support and enhance our Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for someone who excels in declarative development, understands business processes, and is passionate about delivering efficient, scalable solutions through configuration and automation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Salesforce features including standard/custom objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and profiles / permission sets.
• Design and implement automation using Lightning Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules to streamline business operations.
• Build and manage reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce configurations.
• Support data management activities including imports, exports, deduplication, and data quality monitoring.
• Assist in managing sandbox environments and deploying configuration changes across environments.
• Ensure platform security and compliance by applying appropriate access controls and sharing rules.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements aligned with platform capabilities.
